A Perfect Day in Oslo

Morning: After filling up on a hearty breakfast at the hotel, I would stroll or take the bus down to Rådhuskaia and take one of the small ferrys out to Bygdø, and visit the Viking Ship museum or the Kon-Tiki museum, in honour of the great Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl. Or just take a walk around this beautiful island.
Lunch: : For lunch I would walk down to the new Norwegian Opera and Ballet located in Bjørvika for a guided tour where they've open up the opera house and show its spectacular architecture, the impressive facilities as well as offer a peek into some of the activities which take place backstage. The Brasserie is in the foyer, offering a wonderful view of the Oslo fjord. Sit at one of the outdoor tables and you will find yourself practically at water level. You could also enjoy a cup of coffee with your delicious cakes and pastries.
Afternoon: Take a walk up to Grunerløkka, follow the tram tracks up Thorvald Meyers gate only a few minutes walk from the hotel, which offers small restaurants, shops and cafes. From first-class ingredients, ready-made meals and deli goods to tea and coffee bars this urban part of Oslo offers something for everyone.
Evening: Enjoy a first class meal at the hotel's restaurant, 34 Restaurant & Bar. Indulge with an exciting meal, 107 meters above the city, with a fresh lobster from our lobster tank. Or visit the Ekeberg restaurant, located at Ekeberg and also with astonishing views over the city and the Oslo Fjords.
Night: Take a taxi to Hegdehaugsveien, were there are several clubs and bars, such as Odeon, Nobilis, La Notte. You can sit outside until midnight. Afterwards, clubs such as Cosmo or Neon are the place to be.
